About me

I'm currently a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of British Columbia, supervised by Prof. Renjie Liao. I am broadly interested in machine learning, and brain-computer interfaces.

I obtained my B.A.Sc degree in Mechatronics Engineering at University of Waterloo in 2021, where I worked with Dr. Ning Jiang on visual signal analysis with brain-computer interfaces. I also conducted 2 years M.A.Sc study about the brain-controlled speech mechanism (articulatory-acoustic mapping) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of British Columbia, while I made the decision to quit the program and start exploring a new direction!

I have two cats!
